The Position
Dean Davidson is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Wholesale Sales Support Intern to support the wholesale team across key operational functions. This role plays an important part in ensuring a seamless experience for our retail partners, with a strong focus on new account onboarding, ongoing account support, and lead generation.
The Wholesale Sales Support Intern will play a key role in supporting the wholesale function at Dean Davidson by ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for retail partners. This role focuses on account onboarding, ongoing account support, and business development through lead generation.
The intern will assist in setting up new wholesale accounts, coordinating onboarding and training processes, and supporting post-delivery follow-up to ensure partner satisfaction. They will work closely with the sales, logistics, and operations teams to facilitate smooth order fulfillment and maintain accurate account records across systems.
A key priority of the role includes researching and identifying prospective retail partners aligned with the brand, supporting outbound outreach efforts, and assisting in building a strong wholesale pipeline. The intern will also contribute to the preparation of sales tools, onboarding materials, and merchandising guidance to support retail partners in effectively representing the brand.
This position provides hands-on exposure to wholesale operations, customer relationship management, and business development within a growing consumer brand environment.
You must be enrolled in a business, marketing, commerce, or a related post-secondary program with a mandatory or optional work-integrated learning component, such as a co-op or internship.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Support
- Support onboarding of new wholesale accounts from setup through post-delivery follow-up
- Provide responsive and professional after-sales support to retail partners
- Assist in coordinating training sessions and merchandising guidance
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Conduct research to identify and build a targeted list of prospective retail partners
- Support outbound prospecting efforts through email outreach, calls, and follow-ups
- Assist in preparing and distributing prospecting materials to potential stockists
Operations & Coordination
- Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Maintain up-to-date account records and internal documentation
- Assist in preparing onboarding materials and sales tools
Data & Organization
- Track leads, account activity, and outreach efforts in structured systems
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of account and sales data
- Support reporting and internal coordination across teams

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field, with a mandatory or optional work-integrated learning component, such as a co-op or internship.
- Strong interest in wholesale, retail, eCommerce, or the fashion/jewelry industry
- Previous experience in customer service, sales support, administration, or coordination is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with CRM systems or sales tools (e.g., HubSpot) is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: $19.50 per hour
Location
