I was a big fan of this ring until they changed the design. The gem is set lower in the bezel and the prongs are less impressive than the original. The gem itself has a white backing to create the illusion of iridescence, which detracts from its appeal as a high quality DD piece. I recommend the midnight blue.
I bought this ring in the wrong size so went into the shop in Toronto. Picked a great stone. Lots of blue sparkle and get lots of compliments!!
